Happy birthday to Myself!! :)
I'm finally 21! Over here, 21 means that
I can be let into pubs (finally!) and drink their cheap liquor
here! In Singapore, you can drink when you're 18 but you can
only watch X-rated movies when you're 21.
Over here, it's the opposite. So it means
that I do not really have the 'perks' of watching a X rated
movie...hmm...
Let me describe my birthday.
The big surprise 10/7
It was a normal Monday night in our Marymount
apartment. Edric came over for dinner and after that we discussed
a bit of our project which is due on Thur 10/10. I was kinda
'resigned' to an uneventful birthday as I had my fair share
in a pre-birthday party back in Singapore. So I was actually
doing my 'programming languages' homework with Cozy and getting
stressed up cuz I can't answer the questions.
Edric, Eu Jin and Dax were happily doing
their research too.
Then suddenly at the stroke of 12....
So touched!!!! My roomies actually planned
a mini surprise for me and I actually got a cake!!! Made my
day!!! ^o^

the day itself 10/8
It was a bad day at work though. Company
took back my phone and I lost my organizer. I was so pissed
that I decided to buy a Sony Clie NR70 for myself on ebay.
21st birthday's excuse :p. Work is busy, but I enjoy it. I
actually worked til 730pm on my birthday and I was real tired.
After work, I went down with Ruth to a place
called 'Scores' in San Mateo where my colleagues planned a
mini party for me. Think they actually want to get me drunk.
However, I was tired and I did not feel like drinking. I only
had 2 drinks and my colleages were pissed. Til now, they still
say that they've lost all respect for me...
Edric, Eu Jin, Kae Fong, Cozy and Prem came
down for the gathering too! :) Thanks guys!!! We had drinks,
chatted and played pool. The place closed at 1030pm though,
so we couldn't really do much.
