My favorite musicians....

3. Jay Chou (yes, I actually like Mandarin pop)

On a good day, I like to play one of those jazz tracks on my iTunes. Though half of the time I dun really get what they're singing, jazz always transports me to different places...the bar in san diego...yoshi's in oakland....of lazy afternoons with absolutely nothing to do. I listen to a variety of jazz, but I prefer female singers. Another genre of music I listen to is....classics. My all time favorite song is Moon River by Andy Williams and I want to get married to 'Here, There and Everywhere' by the Beatles.

Tango

I love tango after picking it up in Tokyo with Tzu-Han. Though I'm not an active member nowadays, I used to go down to xenbar often for free tango lessons

the Internet

I can't do without my powerbook on my lap...and yes, I chat. I have MSN, yahoo, icq, aim, jabber....I'm a sucker for online personas

Books

I used to read a lot when I was younger...now I read whenever I have nothing else to do.....My favorite books are by Roald Dahl.....I also read a lot of books on issues that are close to my heart..like slavary, child prostitution (of course I mean I want to stop them...). I also enjoy biographies of people I admire.

Movies

I'm a HUGE sucker for romantic movies that make me cry (but again, I cry at every other movie...). I do think that the Notebook is lovely as well as 'Love Letter' from Japan.

Travel

Yes I love to travel. But instead of joining tour groups that rush around or with people who wish to see 10 places in 5 days, I like to take leisurely walks and spend an hour or two in any of the quaint cafes, writing in my travel journal and enjoying a cup of tea, often with a slice of delicate cake.
