Protests against the Irag War, San Francisco

It was the opening of the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco and I made my way there to see the pieces there. On the way to the museum, we passed by some protestors in the streets against the war in Iraq. It was certainly very interesting and you'll never find this in Singapore. Being true blue hippies, the californians came with costumes, music and lotsa colors.

Classic scene. Someone drove in a car with some speakers protesting against the war. The police came and drove it away at the shouts of the protestors

A random shot. There were many people around with cameras trying to capture a piece of the historical moment.

Line of policemen (SFPD) on bikes.

A sign on the street.

A woman showing her (un)support of the war against Iraq.

Another woman, though she seems really happy to be doing this. I wonder if she's really against the war.

A San Francisco hippie

Remember the line of policemen? This guy was cycling in front of them holding his mini protest sign the whole time

A weird guy taking a break

Group of students doing some silly dance while cheering along the streets.

Helicopters in the air!

The dove represents some people's hopes for peace

Peace signs on the American flag

The chinese showed their protests too! It said 'no blood for oil'

Trekkies for peace! haha
